We were there on St Patty’s day and had a blast. Great music. One band left and another followed right behind. The service was awesome. I was surprised because it was packed. Our waitress did a great job tending to us. I wish we didn’t eat beforehand because we only had a quesadilla which was delicious. But there were a lot of good looking dishes passing by.

What a surprise! We have been coming to the marshwalk area since I was a child, and I’m now almost 60. We have our favorites, and we tend to get into a groove. But, last week we were in Garden City Beach and it snowed! Not a little bit of snow. Actual New-England-type-snow. But, since we have lived in New England at some point in our lives, we knew how to drive in the white stuff. The problem was finding anything open. We were surprised and thrilled to see the Bubba‘s Love Shak red ‘open’ sign was lit! We were also surprised that when we entered, there was a roaring fire. I pulled up a chair next to the fire and never left. The server came and delivered our drinks and our food, and I just ate my shrimp on my lap. The final surprise was in the quality of the food. Wow! The house salad, which comes with a house dressing that is equal parts honey mustard and a hot bacon, was outstanding. It was really large, and when I poured both dressings on and mixed them together it was one of the best salads I have had in years! I ordered the fried shrimp special which came with the house salad and a side, and I chose the mashed potatoes. They were “OK” and were the only little bit of disappointment in the meal, because I’ve had more flavorful mashed potatoes. But the salad and the shrimp more than made up for it! Next time I’ll just choose a different side. My husband had a fish sandwich. He also found it flavorful and it was a nice-sized portion. And our server... Our server was attentive, funny, always looking to see if we needed another drink or anything else. I really wish I remember her name, as she was just delightful. Bottom line, we will be back! We have an entire list of places we go on the marshwalk, and this will now be at the top. Cannot wait to introduce our friends to this restaurant, because we have been basically stuck in a loop of going to the same ones year over year. The only other disappointment was that they had to close the bar, and I was craving one more wonderful rum punch next to the fireside, but it was getting slick outside, and I am just so thankful that they opened at all and allowed a few of the locals to come in and enjoy a respite from the snow and weather. Also, I had never seen the Marshwalk in the snow, so there are some photos attached here. It was lovely!

Fun, casual spot, right on the waterfront in Murrells Inlet with a good-sized outdoor patio. The decor is bright and fun, retro, and very "beach". Dog friendly, too! The food was delicious, and the service was quick and waitstaff friendly. I got the Black and Blue salad with blackened tuna. The tuna was perfectly done, served seared and medium rare. It was served on Romain lettuce (I would have preferred mixed greens), with tomatoes and yummy crispy onion straws. It also came with blue cheese crumbles, but I skipped those. The onion straws were a little greasy but delicious, just the same (just less healthy!). The balsamic vinegrette was quite good. My husband had the fried flounder sandwhich with fries, which he said was delicious. The fish was very fresh, fried just right (not greasy) with a light breading. The fries could have been crisper (a bit limp) but still tasted good. The bread was like a po'boy roll. The view of the waterfront from the patio is lovely, and it was fun to people watch on the boardwalk. The price was a little high for lunch, but the quality of the food was excellent, which made it a good value. I highly recommend this fun spot for casual drinks, lunch, or dinner.

Great food. We had the flounder and shrimp platter. Two large flounder fillers and at least a dozen shrimp. Perfect light and crispy crust on the flounder. The house salad filled with fresh and crispy greens, cucumbers, and tomatoes. Faith was very attentive to our needs, making for a superb dining experience. We dined outside where we could enjoy watching the activity along the Marsh walk. Definitely will be a regular stop when vacationing.

Great food and great atmosphere. J Peters Seafood and Bar is where the food comes from. It is right beside Bubba's and has less of a beach boardwalk and more regular restaurant feel. Bubba's has a large outdoor patio and the inside has a bar and seating that stays open when the weather is nice. Only complaint is that they seem not to have enough wait staff but it wasn't that much of a wait and the server was extremely nice and accommodating!

10/10 recommend Bubbas! The atmosphere is fantastic, the food was great, that band was awesome, and Ava our waitress was the best! She was so sweet and attentive even with it being a very busy Friday night.

We stopped here for lunch on a Friday and sat at the outside picnic tables because our dog was with us. The waitress was super friendly and even brought our dog a styrofoam container full of fresh water! The service was great, and the food was delicious. We ordered a J Peters salad (comes with a croissant that seemed to be drizzled with light honey, so good!), a grilled chicken sandwich with seasoned fries, and a fried grouper sandwich with fries. Everything was very good. Per the waitress, there are no longer goats on Goat Island. LOL Also, Bubba's and the J Peters restaurant next door are owned by the same people, so you get the J Peters' menu when you order. That really didn't matter though because the prices were reasonable, and the menu offered quite a few food choices.
